I've noticed that the CAI from MAC has issues with my hood!! I like the blue color (that's why I bought it) and it seems the filter shows impressions from the hood (compressed). I'm thinking a new filter of a more slender design or a new CAI all together is in order. I like showing off my engine when friends and aquaintances ask to see what's under the hood. My problem is, when I pop the hood the filter looks like its been crunched. Anyone else have the the same issue? Should I look for a differnt CAI?Or, should I put the OEM back on, or order something like a K&N... seriously (laughing so very out loud). I'm thinking a diffrent CAI... with a pretty color, like blue, or chrome (kidding) , or black, or red, or something other than a crunched up blue MAC'er. It looked so nice and pretty, after installing it!!

Editorial; pay attention MAC and all others, no crunched filters, PLEASE. They (MAC) got this one wrong, duh!

????? Didnt know of a Mac cai till now. Try refitting it maybe you installed it wrong?????
