Default 2005 Front Parking Lights

Anyone know why the front parking lights (one or both at different times)would stay on after they are switched off and the car is turned off, key out of the ignitiion?

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but your car is evil, possessed of the dev-il and it will have to be destroyed. There's a TSB out on this and I think it only affects the 2005.

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin, not quite a recall, but it is Ford acknowledging this is a reoccuring problem with many mustangs of this year. Normally, if there is a TSB, and you go to the dealer, they will fix it free of charge.

Look at the top of every page on this site. In the blue bar it says "Mustang TSB's"
Do the lights stop blinking after you open the door? I wonder if they are connected to whatever keeps the stereo powered after you take the key out...

This happened to my 05 GT after it rained alot. my car is a leaker but it's supposed to be fix now. After the rain, i would drive my car or make sure it's locked and the passenger side marker and rear taillights would stay on. i would have to take the neg. off the battery and let it sit for awhile. It would turn off, but hours later and as long as it didn't rain anymore. When i took it to ford, they said that a grommet in the engine bay was out. Also my passenger side carpet by the kick panel was damp after the rain. It's rained here and there but it has to rain hard to make the problem, so i don't know if it's fixed yet.

+1 I would be very surprised if your car wasn't leaking. Check out this thread.
