Mine doesn't rattle, but it does squeak, but it doesn't do it every time so I haven't taken it in yet.....BUT

squeaks or rattles are brokens....take it back to your dealer, or another dealer, and remind them that a BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty means they are covering the car from one end to the other and that since you bought a car expecting to not have to listen to rattles/squeaks then they need to fix it....

I had the same problem. I took it to one dealer they said sorry can't help you. Took it to a different dealer and they put on a new mirror for me the next day. So like ponyman said try a different dealer if you can.

Can't say I have noticedmine "rattle." And certainly not to the point where there is a reason to think the dealer would need to look at it.

give it time. both doors do it, the drivers side is worse. i checked 3 used stangs in the lot - two of them rattled just like mine.

yeah i think its time to go to another dealer. what gets me is if its just gonna do it again, eventually we will have to fnid uor own fixes. (like the plastic trim behind the handle on the inside of the door where you put a piece of foam in there to keep it tight.... the dealer wont fix that either)

Very easy to remove mirror, just pull off door sail (traingular piece inside car), pull straight out. Disconnect wires & remove three nut & mirror is off.
Mine doesn't rattle but if it did I'd try myself before letting those butchers at the dealership do it.
