Default 2007 Roush Stage 2- Good Deal?

Just picked up my 2007 Roush Stage 2, had a MSRP of $43855 & paid $38,283-$1000 rebate=$37,283. Did I get a good deal as I was just looking for a Premium but the deal seemed good, was it?

I personally cannot stand tuner cars. You just paid more than 10k over the price of a GT for a body kit andlackluster suspension. From a performance standpoint you got hosed. If you like the car and it makes you happy you got a great deal. In the end, you are just paying for a name brand - not performance. Roush doesn't even build the cars. They are a dealer installed option. Jack Roush never saw you car or touched your car. There is no personality in them anymore. Tuner cars are for people who are either lazy, ignorant, or like to drop names. Please don't take this as a personal attack. This is a forum of opinions and that's mine.

You got a car for nearly 6K off MSRP and you are asking if it is a good deal????????

If you need confirmation from us then here you go: "You sure got a great deal! Man you're onelucky SOB to get a deal like that!"

Come one man, what do you think we are going to say? You got hosed, it's only a good deal if you get 10K off MSRP!

Why post a question with an obvious answer, plus one you already know? I hope your next post isn't "Is this a mustang forum?"

You basically paid for the Roush name and nothing else. You could have gotten all the upgrades on that car for $30,000, but you basically paid another $7,283 just so you can say it is a Roush. Please don't take that as an attack either, but it is the truth.

uhhh - Stoneblue you need to research your answer there bud. Hardly any Roush's are actually built there nowadays. They are in fact most often dealer installed. I'm not making this stuff up.
