RE: My new tweaked-out GT/CS
Thanks! The ride is not for hemorrhoid sufferers. Harsh, unrefined (especially with that archaic live rear axle) but I can feel the road in my hands, feet and butt and I can set up for a corner and go for it with confidence. A big improvement on stock.
The CAI and tune transform the car. I did the tune this morning and I've been unable to stop smiling since.

RE: My new tweaked-out GT/CS
The performance tech ordered this unit from Superchips and we uploaded it into the car after carefully saving the stock settings. The performance tune we chose was already loaded into the device and was one of three, I think: stock, 87-Octane and 91-Octane. It just freed up the car, tranformed its performance from stationary, improved the shifting, the timing, the mixture...the car is fast; it can't be much slower 0-60 than a normally aspirated 911.

RE: My new tweaked-out GT/CS
Here's more piccage, nothsa, thx for your interest.
We set it up with the 87-Octane tune fitst and the tech was a little dismissive: "You'll want the 91, just wait". I almost expected to be disappointed when I went to wring it out around the wide, almost empty, semi-industrial boulevards around Van Nuys, CA but it blew my socks off. I'll drive this for maybe a month and then take out the gizmo and plug in the '91. It's going to go like a rocket. I hate to sound like a cracked record but the difference between the stock tune and this is like night vs. day.
Oops, probs uploading, BRB...
