Not trying to hijack here, To answer a few questions:

First of all make sure you use loctite blue colored with the bolts, that will kill the rattle. I had the same problem.

Much better than stock in feel, nice short clean throws, much like a rifle bolt.

2-3 is much improved.

I love the cue ball real old school look, compliments the retro interior/exterior.

Thats my .02

Installed mine this past week end. I like it but it is an adjusment. I have not pulled gears hard, but it feels much more firm and positive. The poly urethane bushings tightened up the feel but will make more noise.

Use loctite on the handle screws! I actually didn't use anything except some elbowgreaseand i've never had it rattle. Make sure you lined up the groves on the shifter stick to those on the chrome handle.

I feel I need to repost my hurst picture. Nothing against blueherd, but those pictures suck!

Ididnt install my shifter. Where are these screws you guystalk about? can I access it through the inside of the car?

Or is it that nut thing under the shifter ball.

You'll need to pop the leather shift boot up and push the rubber seal down to see them. The shift boot is just held on with clips, it can easily be pulled up by hand.

It's so easy i'd do it for you for $50 if you didn't live in IN.
