I rented an 06 Mustang V6 last year and now I rented a 07 V6. The reason why I rented one is because I am on a business trip. There are a few things that I have noticed on the 07 that the 06 didn't have.

1. When you push the unlock button on the key fob, all the outside lights and interior lights turn on. I don't remember this on the 06. It's a nice enhancement.

2. The drivers seat raises and lowers using a pump lever on the side of the seat. The seats are manual seats. To raise, pull up on the lever a few times. To lower, push down on the lever a few times.

3. The interior air circulation and the rear defroster switches are reversed. The rear defroster switch used to be all the way to the right.

4. The rear spoiler is a ducktail type spoiler instead of the normal wing type spoiler.

All in all, I like the few improvements/enhancements they made to the car. I am wondering if these differences are on the rental cars only or are they on all the cars.

I have a 2006 V6 Convertible and the lights do not go on when I unlock with the key fob. Is there a setting I can change?

the auto headlights are a new feature that will be automatically programmed into your existing 05-06 stang if in any circumstance that you need your car to be re-programmed or your smart box to be replaced. Id take a manual seat over a power drivers seat anyday.... I worked for Budget rent a car and drove alot of mustang verts with power seats... the button failed on me and the driver before me is a short guy... I couldnt drive the car because i couldnt get in it period! LOL.... so thats why im so glad i have manual seating vs electronical... and whats so hard about moving it yourself? its 4 times faster than waiting for it to move forward or backward... lol.. i dunno its just my opinion... people can believe what they wanna believe, i cannot judge anybody because im sure they have a good reason too.. lol.. so take it easy aight.. just a forum..

My seats are auto.
and yes.. we have a strange spoiler. I could take close-ups if anyone is interested.

I seen that on your web page pictures. Do you have a choice between that spoiler and the wing type spoiler?

yeah for #1 the lights outside dont go on......but on the inside they do. sorry i forgot to add that in
