Any Thoughts?
I had new tires/rims put on the other day and afterwards there's now a rattle under the car. It sounds like metal hitting metal, and only happens when the car goes over uneven surfaces and rocks from side to side. I have absolutely no idea how the place might have been able to screw something up, short of putting it on the lift incorrectly but needless to say I'm a little pissed. I've looked under the car but can't really tell if anything is loose. If anyoine has any ideas I'd love to hear them, thanks.

I don't know, but i'd check all my lug nuts.
you don't have an adjustable panhard rod do you? Thought they might have had to adjust it for wide tires and didn't tighten the jam nuts.

It's a coupe. I just got off the phone with Ford and the dealer sais they hear the noise but can't put it on their lift because it's lowered. The place that switched my tires didn't caution me about anything like that so what possible damage could come from putting a lowered car on a lift not meant for one?

depends on the type of lift, if it is the 4 point lift style that some dealers have, they can't get their bumpers under the rockers to lift it. Most dealers I've seen have a different lift in at least one bay that they use for oil changes. It's more idiot proof for the kids they hire to change oil, it's a set of ramps you just drive on and the whole platform lifts up. This kind of lift should pose no problem whatsoever for a lowered car. I'd say they are trying to mess with you since you modified your car, some dealers are like that.
