Roush or Whipple if installed by a Ford dealer, Whipple being superior.

I would get Saleen or Whipple, both maintainyour warranty if installed by a lisenced dealer. The Roush IMO is not worth the money for the power you get.

Whipple says nothing on their website about maintaining the factory warranty. If keeping the factory warranty is a priority I think a super charger isn't for you.

Roush is probably the only one that you're guaranteed to have a warranty with.

Whipples are engineered for Ford, they dont hurt the warranty if a Ford dealer installs it, which is BS because theres alot of crappy Ford techs out there who i wouldnt trust to change my oil.

well just went through this in great detail
no after market part voids factory warrantyford must warranty the car. thats the good news bad news any modification that directly or indirectly causesa failure would not be covered under fords warrant.
I have put 25k in aftermarket parts on all through a ford deal that has said if the breaks down no matter where i am to back to them. if the car is towed to another dealer and they are dicks they will put flag on the s/n that makes for head office approve all warranties. I can't not stress this enough find a ford shop that work with you. ask them about the warranty. my deal call 2 week ago and said they are geting new cams and new torqueconverter in do i want to try it. find a good dealer

Can anyone show a link to a page from the manufacturer that shows that a Whipple or Saleen maintain your warantee if installed by a licenced dealer?? Roush DOES have the warantee, but Roush picks it up. Ford voids the warantee the moment the S/C goes on.

I know there's articles about how the dealer has to prove that the mod caused the failure, but if your motor or drivetrain go out ........ not rocket science.

So I beleive, unless someone else can show the facts, that only Roush maintains the rest of your factory warantee if installed by a licenced dealer.

(I'd like a Whipple, so I'd love to be proven wrong on this!!)

SO what you guys are saying is 1: The Roush is not the fastest or best but will put out some HP and Tq and cover the warranty 36000 miles or 3 years.....The Saleen will put out more HP and Tq but it will most likely increase the danger zone for the motor...What can be done to ensure the S/C will not blow the engine....Can you make the motor stronger with better parts ect....Sorry im just a newbe when it comes to S/C I really wish the GT 500 were not over priced cuz I would have bought one of thoes if there were at sticker not 62 K !!

Many Thanks for everyone who chimed in !!!!!! Asab.................

Well with any forced induction your going to run into the problem of your engine not holding up for its full life span ... if you want extra power you can do the bolt ons which work good and make a noticable difference but still may void your warrarnty just depends on what kind of dealer your working with.

With a good tune the saleen supercharger puts out a good deal of power for the money.... But still the stock 4.6 will only hold safely about 450 to 475

Sweet interior by the way the color scheme its hot!
