Not worth the questionable gains, and they affect the alternator negatively.

Actually, UDPs are generally regarded as having a positive affect on all the accessories. Theslower rotational speedsreduce the strain on them. Admittedly the 4.6 3v is not a very high revving motor (relatively speaking), butI would still think that rule of thumb applies.

Ok, i agree with the gain of some horsepower. All i said was the for $200, the horsepower is not substantial. Also my last question is, what kind of dyno? Dynojet or Mustang/Land and Sea Dyno?

No one ever doubted it added power, it does. Im not even bashing the product, i have it in my car. All that was said is dont believe the box, it may be worth it to you to spend $200 for a few hp, but in the op's position theres better things out there for the money.

This depends on what you mean. UDPs do make the various parts spin slower, so the mechanical loads on most of the accessories is reduced, and parts like bearings will last longer.

However, your alternator is working HARDER becasue it is being asked to deliver the same output at lower RPM, which makes the electrical load higher.

Im not calling you a liar, but i just cant see 307 hp coming from pulleys, cai, and tune. When i was dynod i had the same set up and put down 281, now im either missing something or you must have one HELLAVA tune. Also since my last dyno i added an o/r x pipe, and am expecting to be right around 288-290 (dont know for sure) . even there you have 20 hp on me....what kind of CAI and tune do you have? Custom dyno tune or sct...ect..? No bashing here intended, just trying to figure out where your numbers are coming from.

Well I didn't have it dyno'ed before the UDP's but the pullieswith a CAI, tune and axlebackshave given me 307hp at the wheels and 330ft lbs. I have a manual. I will try to scan my dyno sheet in a couple of minutes.

I get this all the time. I have the dyno sheet. My scanner is f'ed up. I guess I can try to take a pic of it and post it. Let me see what I can do. It is not that important to me, I was just showing my results. Take it as you may.

Hmm... I believe you that the dyno came out like that, im just confused. Those may be dyno-jet numbers, if it was ran on a dyno-jet i can see you putting down 307..... you wouldnt happen to know what type of dyno it was ran on do u? ie: land&sea, Mustang, dyno-jet ect...

Here is the sheets. The tuner said he has done another car with my setup and had similar results. The tuner is very reputable in SoCal and has been in business for over 20 years. This is on a Dynojet. Here are the pics, sorry for the crappy quality.
