How accurate is it? Anyone compare it to track times? 4.7 sounds pretty good for those mods - is this realistic?

My tuner will log 0-60, 1/4 mile, orwhatever speed/distance you set it to as long as you d/l the data acquisition files: Superchips Flashpaq 1825.

RE: 0-60mph times
There was a 0-60 calculator somewhere online. It used your 1/4 mile's information and converted it to a 0-60. Not sure how acurate it was though. I think mine was something like 4.44 seconds?

Sounds pretty accurate - Thanks.

I've got one, and when I first used it, I was trying to see how accurate it was. I was off by 3/10ths of a second for the overall 1/4 mi. time, but my 60' times and 0-60mph times were off by a full second. Turns out that this was because I didn't have the rollout set up correctly on the GTech Pro, but once I set that to the correct rollout, my times matched up with my timeslips, as a +/- .3 sec time. I think that's pretty accurate for what it is!

RE: 0-60mph times
I used my SCT programmer and laptop to datalog a few 0-100 runs. My best 0-60 (no power braking) was 5.17 sec. Data logging is sort of a pain in the azz, but its really accurate.

One of the things that I like about the GTech is that you can use it to give you a baseline of your HP, and then see what the improvements are with mods that you're doing. Just...be careful with WHERE you test.

RE: 0-60mph times
It may be more than you want to spend but check out the VBOX we sell. These are GPS based (very accurate) and are the same units many magazines use to test. They can also map and record racing lines, drift competitions etc. It's an amazing unit.
The Gtechs are accurate as long as you compare your times on the same stretch of road etc. Since they use accelerometers, body rolls, unlevel roads etc affect the times they give.
