RE: 4.10s or 4.30s
Dude,
I have 4.30 for my 05 GT. With the long tube headers, and hi-performance tune, the car is a rocket. I would really go with the 4.10. At 60 miles an hour, my RPM band is about 2600. I can live with this. Do the 4.30 gears and have ball...

RE: 4.10s or 4.30s
i'm going with 4.10's. 4.30's are a tad to much for my driving habits. If my car was mostly for track, then 4.30's would be fine, hell probably 4.56's then. Also if you plan on FI or nitrous, you'll definitley redline in 4th way before the finish line, and you don't really want to go into 5th, but 4.30's might possibly have enough ***** in 5th to still push you down the track.

RE: 4.10s or 4.30s
the 01+s have the t3650 with a 5th gear of .62, it is really a dog, with 4.30s at 80 you should be under 3k at 80 mpg, but, lets not forget that they are modular motors, not pushrods, so there is no problem with taht, i will say around half a second or so in the quarter, you might loose 3 mpg on the highway

so with full bolt ons (including torque converter,some suspension work and tires)and 4:30s or 4:56s ,even with being conservative with the throttle ..would it still be bad for daily driving??
looking for break neck acceleration but also something I can live with and won't hover at 3500k rpm while crusing @ 45 on the highway lol..

The following assumes stock 17" tires and accurate rpm and mph readings. This is for the TR3650
Please note trap speed is an average over the last 66' of the 1/4 and is roughly 2 mph lower than at the finish line.
In otherwords this is for a car that traps 108 mph.
4.30 = 6054 rpm at 110 mph in 4th (1.00)- 2786 rpm at 75 mph in OD (0.675)
4.10 = 5773 rpm at 110 mph in 4th (1.00) - 2657 rpm at 75 mph in OD (0.675)
