What did you use to cut the braided lines to fit? I have this same kit sitting in my garage, tried cutting the lines with a pair of scissors but it was a PIA!

The way you cut it is to measure out the hose length needed then wrap where you want to cut with electrical tape. Take a hacksaw and cut in the middle of the tape. That way it doesn't fray out and make hamburger out of your fingers when you are putting on the ends.

Yes! That's the way to go!
But aren't braided brake lines the better performance investment? Or don't they help?

Valve covers are powdercoated. I bought my braded hoses in various lengths rather than a kit. You have to cut the hose to length anyway. So I bought 3', 6' or 10' lenths and shared with friends. A good pair of scissors will cut it, but you'll need to sharpen the scissors when you're done. Better to use tin snips. Don't use a hack saw. The teetrh will shred the braiding. Trust me...I tried it. Mine are stainless steel braided hose. It's the good stuff. You can order from just about anywhere. I got mine at Summit Racing. I'm not aware of any kit with pre-cut pieces for a Mustang. There are kits, but you still have to cut the hoses to length and buy extra clamps.

The lines do not come in a kit. You have to buy all the clamsp and hose seprat and then cut the hose to lengthand put it all together. I actually cut the stock snap on fittings off the hard line and then used them with the Braided Hose. As for cutting the hose you can do it Hawgman's way or use a cutoff wheel which is what i did. I did still use the tape though. You can get all the parts at summitracing.com cost is about 100.00 Here is a list of parts and sizes along with a picture of mine.
5/16" line It's 48" long and you cut it to the size you need and slip the other clamp on. Need one of these.
3/8" line It's 36" long and you cut it to size also. Need two of these, and use the excess from one of them for the brake vaccum and buy an extra set of clamps
5/8" line This one is 48" long and you cut it to size also. Need one of these as well.
The radiator overflow, passenger side PCV, fuel vacuum, and brake vacuum are 3/8", the fuel rail one is 5/16", and the big PCV on the driver's side is 5/8".

RE: BRAIDED HOSES?
Here is mine- let me know what you think. They are kinda hard to see in the picture with the shaker scoop but I think they look real nice in real life.
