Default Jacking points

Where are the best jacking points and jack stand points (front and rear). Should you just use the jacking points indicated in the manual if you have a floor jack? I would like to be able to lift the whole front or rear from one spot, and then be able to place the jack stands. The manual states not to use the differential to lift the rear. I would imagine that the rear axle on each side is the obvious jack stand point for the rear, but what about the front?

This is how I raise the rear despite what Ford says. I think they are just covering their butts in case a car slips off the jack. I'm not saying you should do this I'm just saying this is how I do it. Other MF guys do it the same way and haven't had a problem. The red dots are where the jack stands go. The arrow is where the floor jack goes.

This is how I do the front. Never had a problem front or rear... just be careful and definitely use jack stands. I duct taped a rubber sanding disk pad the top of the jack so it doesn't scratch the frame.
