haha im glad everyone agrees w/ me on memphis. on the bronco forums i get on, everyone is obesessed w/ jbl and pioneer stuff

 

Ive actually heard that pioneer is pretty good... and they seem to be decently priced... have I been mislead?

From what yall have experienced, whats the best SQ sub brand...? Im looking to do a setup that sounds awesome quality wise when I just want to listen to music but then have some nice SPLs setup on switches for when I want to bust a few ear drums... I know Vegas are good but what other companys make good SPLs... MTX? (I know they came out with that JHammer... looks crazy loud.)

 

if you want stellar sound quality from a sub i would get something like an eclipse or infinity, maybe a polk. also you'll want to spend the extra money to buy a quality amp or it will still sound like crap. a sealed box will sound cleaner than a ported too. i just picked up the countour which was in storage so if i can find my camera i'll take some pics of the eight 8's in there =)

 

Yes Memphis does make good stuff. I have the small Memphis Belle which will be runing my whole set up. Then a Alpine head unit all my speakers are Image Dynamics. My processors are Audio Control. You can check out pics of my set up in my sig. The only differenence this time just using one amp as opposed to two, and different brand of sub.

 

+1 for Alpine, Image Dynamics are pretty good for sound quality too
