When winter is over i will go back to washing every weekend. And once every month I'm going to start taking the wheels off to wash the entire wheel.

Summer, it's like a every other day thing.
I hate to start a conflit here, but I must say that in IMO its quite wasteful[>:]... I live in Florida where droughts are always in the news and we are assigned certain days where we are allowed to water our lawn or wash our cars, but putting that aside I must say the amount of water the average car wash consumes can amount to a large sum of water over time.. I think that once a week is more than plenty!! I really dont think I sound like a tree hugger either, its just water is limited and when its gone, ITS GONE!!!
Whatever hippie; Enjoy your dirty Mustang.

Driving a dirty Stang is like wearing dirty underwear. Wash it and take care of it, your making the rest of us look bad!

If you don't remove bug guts, they will eventually pit your finish. Especially love bugs. During love bug season I wash the front of my car every day. Now as for the dirtiest mustang, i live on a dirt road so I think i've got you beat atleast once a week. I have to wash my car weekly to make it look halfway decent.

Sorry but im not about the feel bad or insulted by being a realist/conservationist!! I think that there's a happy medium in just about anything!! I dont drive a dirty stang therfore I dont think Im making anyone look bad here. I guess im not afriad to say I care for the environment and that I also have a life outside of my car! Now why dont you go start a styrofoam bon fire!!!

Out here in Califonia I almostnever have to worry about it raining the next day so I usually wash the stang at least once a week. This is the worst it has ever been. This is what happens when you travel at about 75-85mph average for 300 miles on highways lol. This is the same trip that I took the pictures that are in my sig and avatar, the cars are filthy but for some reason they turned out looking freshly waxed lol.
