Default Trim below windows

Do you guys have problems with water spots on the black trim below the windows? I noticed it the very next day after I bought it and took it back to the dealership. They just used a detailing wipe on it, but it will not stay that way. As soon as rain or dew hits it, it's back again. They told me to use the wipes on it. I bought some Mother's Back to Black stuff today and put some on it. I'll see tomorrow if it holds up.
Right now with all my business stuff taking up room in my 2 car garage, my baby has to stay outside! I can't wait until our new garage is built!
You would think Ford would have used something that would repel the water.

If this topic has been discussed before, I do apologize.

Yep, those trim pieces definitely leave something to be desired. Mine are sort of a dull flatish black. Don't know about the water spots, though, as it always stays clean and dry.

I noticed this last weekend on the trim on the passenger's side but not the driver's side. I took a little Armour All wipe to it and they came out. I'd forgotten about this until now, so I'll check it tomorrow to see how it held up (car is outside under a cover and we had some rain a few days ago).

Don't user Armor All. Use Mother's Back To Black. I use it on my taillights, cowl, mirrors, etc. Excellent product.

PJ.....thanks for the info. I'd planned on getting something better than the Armour All soon.

Get a storage unit and park the Mustang in the garage where it belongs....
