Default COMP CAMS!!!

Finally got my stage IIIcomp cams installed. What a difference! I was told that you wouldnt hear the difference at idle--wrong!!It now has a mild loap to it. The power surge after 4000 rpm is very noticable. Not able to try my 100 shot with the cams yet because of tne New Jersey weather, but hoping to sometime this week. Btw, my mods are listed below, anybody have a rough guess about hp or 1/4 mile?

Ummmm....I'm no expert, but shouldn't you know your HP??? I mean cams should require a tune...Shouldn't they??? Or, did you get a canned tune with them??? I would get your **** on a dyno asap to make sure you a/f ratio is happy and if not fix it......

I bought the cams and the sct xcal from brenspeed, they said I dont need a special tune, but you are right, I should have one. I am currently looking for a local shop to dyno tune it.

I am dropping off my Stang tonight to get my BBR stage 1 cams installed, plus some suspension work done. I went with the BBR because of the idle noise. You should really get down to the DYNO!!!!!!!

I have similair mods minus the Zex. After my stage3 cams and a tune,I dynoed 345 rwhp, 333 rwtq. You really should get the A/F checked. I had to add 4% in the lower range and 8% in the higher range to get the a/f back in line so I could drive it to Mobile for custom tuning.
