So let me get this right you are running a 125 shot and you accelerated your timing? Sorry to say this but you are just asking to open the hood and find the plastic manifold right next to the fuse box.

Its still 60hp....... It's the same as putting heads/cams in a car.... Would you think that HP gets lost in the engine as you say

ORIGINAL: androdz

If you dyno your 75hp shot you will prob get 60 or so hp to the wheels. It gets lost within the engine those 15 or so hp

Andrew, The reason you can advance the timing is this: The alcohol injection system effectively raises 91 octane pump gas to about an effective octane of 110. It also supercools the intake air charge about 40 to 50 degrees. Both of these factors reduce the possibility of pre-detonation to a very low level. For more info on how this works follow this link. Yes you are correct, without this system it would be engine suicide to advance the timing when spraying nitrous.

No no no you got it all wrong. on nitrous a 50 shot is normally 50hp, 75 is normally 75hp and so on. But on our engines if you spray a 75 shot it shows up around 60 or so hp. That means the hp is been lost thru the engine. If you do a 100 shot you typically get around 96 or so hp which means it is working right

Lol Dont have 200 jets thought 2-3 times about putting the 175 in LOL. But I am already running 20 lb bottles lol. My next jet is a 68mm jet. This sealed the deal for me:
