That is what made me choose silver for mine although mineral grey was a close second. I may have the painter mix something in between the two, a darker silver shade.
With your torch red one I almost like either white or silver there too, the black looks good, but is the same color as a factory stripe. White or silver would add a more custom touch to distinguish you from the rest of the pack

I bought the stripes from baltimore street mods a month ago, and never brought my self to put them on. Growing up I always told myself I'd have a black Mustang with white racing stripes. Once I bought her, the few people I talked to said do silver if anything at all. Everyone else said to just leave the stripes off, cause straight black would look meaner, and more classic. There's plenty of times when I want em on. I bought the flamming pony emblem, and thought about tieing that into a stripe color, but that may be too over the top. Either way, I hope you're happy with yours!

Silver on black is excellent. The white on black is just more aggressive but great too. Then you have the yellow/gold (like the Hertz (my least favorite). Make a picture in your mind.
Black is a great color IMHO (maintenance issues aside...) so you have many options that may please you.
Beast of a show - also tell (pics) of your decision.
