Default New shifter buzz?

I put a Roush short throw shifter in my 06 Roush. I like the feel of it now, but there's a slight buzz that comes from the shifter about half way through each gear. Everything is tight underneath. I even took the shifter handle and adapter off to verify that wasn't the source of the hum. I talked to Roush and they said that's just what happens with short throw shifter [sm=dontgetit.gif] Anyone else have this problem? Any other aftermarket shifters that do or don't do this? I'll buy another brand to get rid of the noise!

Roush in a Roush should be perfect man - keep after them - have them send another shifter - don't accept that answer unless money is not an issue. The feedback from any peoples here that have them can help here!!!

I am not sure if this is the same, but I just installed a tri-ax and get a vibration at about 3.4k rpm and higher. it sounds like the driveshaft is rubbing. I checked the clearance and it is not. You can feel it in the shifter. sorry if it is not the same problem. I am not sure what is up with yours or mine

it does this in other cars too, my 240 had b&M and it had an insane buzzing sound at higher rpms. im pretty sure its normal for a short shifter

It's kind of hard to avoid more drive train noise especially when you are replacing mushy rubber w/ more rigid poly or metal bushings.
