Thanks guys. I'll check out the clear bra. I looked online, I assume you meant the type like the one that 3M makes.
The clear one 3M makes isn't completely clear, the transparency is about 95%. Apparently (and this is according to their site) it looks basically clear on most colors (especially the darker ones) unless you're really close, but on a white car you'll be able to see that 5% color difference. From far away it'll probably be okay, but if you get at all close to it, the clear one will be visible on white.

My Mustang is white too, and I was thinking one of those clear bras would be a good idea, but it probably isn't because it'll be somewhat visible. I'd leave the car how it is, and just increase your following distance in traffic.

On the plus side, white is the best color for using touch-up paint, so it won't look too horribly obvious like it would on a black car.

If anything go with the 3M. Its expensive though. In my opinion I wouldnt do anything, maybe touch up, depends on how bad you got it.

On a side note, bras belong on the floor next to the bed and not on a mustang!

Does anyone have a white mustang with a bug shield or a bra on it? 700 miles and I've already gotten a chip on the leading edge of the hood [:@]Any pictures of anyone with a bra or shield on the hood would be appreciated!!!

On a better note, just got my 07 GT back from the dealer. They installed a cold air intake and magnaflow exhaust hehehe [8D]
Here's my experience with a bra: https://mustangforums.com/m_2620005/tm.htm

You asked in your original post, so here's a picture of my '07 with the bra in place:

I actually like the way the bra looks, but I also like the way it looks without the bra.

I have a bug shield, I didn't get it for bugs but for rock protection.

I think it looks alright:

JMO to start with.. you got your first scratch/rock chip.. unless your car is a show car/trailer queen.. that is life...

just get some touch up paint.. take your time an fix it..

again JMO and only that..

That bug shield looks good, but then again, it's on a black car...blends in pretty well. Not sure how a black one would end up looking on a white car, unless maybe I painted it white. It's a pretty low profile shield...I like it.

However, I think I'd probably agree with the majority about sucking it up. Mine is my only car, so it's not like I can baby the heck out of it like a Mustang truly deserves. Oh well, she's still fun to drive

Thanks for the posts !!! Appreciate the advice.

I use the Ford bra. I make sure that the wax is fresh and the bra is clean before putting it on, and I take it off before any rain. As long as you don't leave it on for long periods (which you won't, if you wash it often) you'll be okay. I've attached a pic of my white GT with bra.

I can say I don't really like the looks of the black on white like that.

I was thinking of the bra as well. At certain times of the year, we have millions (if not more) of flying love bugs. I purchased the GT at Christmas and have not had to drive in this yet. These bugs are dangerous to your paint.
