ORIGINAL: Lees07GT

Just to break up the Meguiar's love-in, I have to say that Iprefer Mother's wax products But that's just me. Mother's Chrome Polish is also excellent.
I agree the Mother's Chrome Polish is the best and easiest to use that I have tried. And i have tried many.

Zaino for that deep wet look, ease of use.

Pick up the Zaino ULTIMATE Protection Show Car Kit and you wont be sorry.

Personally from reading the replies on detailing around here and other stang forums, its a near toss up between Zaino and the NXT stuff. NXT you can buy in stores, Zaino is online order only.

I like Auto Geek as they have lots of washing and detailing information.
Just bought the bucket with the wheels and seat so I don't have to bend over to wax the lower part of my car

I pretty much hooked on Meg...other folks like Zaino, etc. Check out the detailing forums...tons of info there.

All I used to hear about with the Vette guys was Zaino, Zaino, Zaino. Then the buzz was "Adam's Polishes", that this stuff was even better than Zaino! Who knows? Can the different products have that much of a quality difference?

I'm not much of a waxer, I'll use the first thing I grab at Autozone! ( ...or maybe I need to be "enlightened on car care products!)

so here's what im going to try and go out and buy this week (or what of it i dont have)

all meguiars
wash - gold class shampoo and cleaner
clay - smooth surface clay kit
paint cleaner - deep crystal paint cleaner
wax - NXT techwax paste
wheels - hot rims multi-piece wheel wash and quik wheel detailer
tires - NXT insane shine tire spray
touch ups - NXT speed detailer
plastics - NXT tech protect and PlasticX
glass - rain-x foaming window cleaner
interior detail - NXT tech protect and Quik interior detailer
leather - gold class rich leather spray
vinyl - gold class vinyl/rubber protectant
carpet - Quik out carpet stain remover
trim - gold class trim detailer and exterior trim detailer

of course im gonna be getting a few more mf cloths a couple of mf towels several difference aplicator pads and i've already got the stuff to get water off your car so their are no water spots...

i think i'll be in good shape once i have all of this, im gonna try it out on my bronco, that thing has lots of swirls and small spots, it will be a good test for the meguiars products. i know that paint has never had this kinda stuff done to it before

I would recommend washing with dishsoap before using the clay bar. Maybe even 2 washes.
