Okay, finally got a chance to put some new parts in and absolutely love them! Went with the Kenwood head unit to keep the retro thing going and get my Sirius, iPod capability back. Just wanted some validation that the head unit actually does go with the retro interior...pics below <I hope>

Looks good. I will be ordering my Hurst shifter this week from Brenspeed, and also want to replace the Shaker 5oo with a new unit. What model Kenwood did you go with?

It's the EZ-500. Pretty cheap (169) and you can add the satellite, iPod, Bluetooth, etc...

Thanks Boomerman! I'm usually a Pioneer guy, but the blue display just doesn't go with the Mustang interior

once i get my mustang i'll be replacing the factory radio w/ a pioneer 7' flip out unit w/ touch-screen ipod controls, that thing is sick and its only $500....considering most flip outs are around $700
