There is a tad difference, offcourse if you have your engine stock then no problems. But if you are running 10+psi or 100+ nitrous you are putting so much more strain on the engine. You want it to have a better chance for the long life

xbone, you are half right. all gas comes down the same pipeline, but once it reaches the terminals it is injected with brand specific additives. some of these are useless, some of em really do help keep your motor clean. the techron formula chevron (and now texaco) uses really does work. i know this because i have seen the comparison of motors being broken down that used their gas exclusively and other motors that havent. the buildup ok carbon on the valve stems and valve heads, and the buildup in the intake ports were significantly less.
