I keep thinking about painting my calipers, but can't think of any color that really goes with the Tungsten Grey. Red calipers would look good with a black or white car, but I don't see it looking good with my color, imho. Maybe I just have to see it on someone's car first.

And of course, I'd want to see what other colors are out there...
Well, I'll post picks for you then. Since I have tungsten and will be doing red calipers.

Dupli color I believe has these colors- Red, Blue, Yellow, Black, and Silver.

Not sure why anyone would want to do silver.
Kinda have to agree on the silver, but that gives me a thought:

I wonder if I could pull the stock calipers off, bead blast 'em, smooth out the finish & polish 'em up? Hmm...I could even take 'em over to a plater here in town and have 'em chromed or nickel plated. It'd most likely be more than painting it (I certainly wouldn't expect it to be as cheap as painting them), but it'd look different...

Ahh...Food for thought, not that I'm going to do it...

Anyone know where I can get red calipers. A guy on here named wingman 75 has them on his black stang. I'm wondering about a price, and what they would run with installation. Thanks!
I guess I'll chime in on this too. I used the DupliColor caliper paint kit. You apply the paint with a brush, its not a spray can, no overspray mess. It goes on very smooth and easy. You can see by my photos that I used playing cards to mask out the rotors. Just push the cards in and they stay in place very easy, no fancy cutting to fit. The link is to the DupliColor video demo area and shows step by step instructions on how to do it. If you have any other questions PM me

Is there enough paint in the G2 kit to paint all four calipers? To me, the calipers look fairly big and the description says:

"Our experience indicates that a PaintSystem Set provides sufficient materials to paint 4 brake calipers, or 2 brake calipers and 2 brake drums. However vehicles with large brake calipers on the front axle and large brake drums on the rear axle may require two complete PaintSystem Sets to assure adequate coverage."

Has anyone used G2?Was there enough in one kit? IthinkDupliColor supplies plenty so there isn't a problem.

I hate to be the party pooper but I say leave them alone. If you want fancy calipers buy them. I just don't see the point of drawing attention to your stock calipers. It's a ricey mod if you ask me. To each his own, that's just me.

The G2 kit is quality in my opinion. There was plenty enough to go 4 thin coats on my car, which translated to a quality finish.
