would I need to lower the 06 GT if I had 20" rims with low profile tires?
Any one have a similar set-up.................... possibly some pics. I am trying to see if I will still need to lower the car (mainly for looks) if I go with this kind of set-up. I am considering the 20" Exodus rims with 255/35 tires. Thanks for any advice.............Donny

That's personal opinion and how the car looks from the factory as some sag more than others. I think it will look great with the setup you have but thats JMO. Check the pics of mine with 20's(in the gallery -camera to the left), that was before the rear being dropped with steeda ultralites. I dropped the rear about 1.25 inches and that took some of the rake to the front of the car away which is what I wanted.

I think with 20' and profile of 35 you will fill the wheel well up more. I have 18's with 35 profile and FRPP springs which dropped it 1.5-2 inches. But it is your call. You can compare overall diamete changes by going here

You do not NEED to lower the car with 20's but it certainly makes the car look 100% better. Here is a before and after of mine.

I've got 20's and didn't lower mine. Although I'm also afraid of lowering it and then scraping everywhere. In my opinion, it still looks good even without lowering it. I think sitting at the stock height gives it more ofa muscle look and that lowering it gives it more of a fast, smooth look.
