Default Rim Opinion! Please Help!

I need your opinion.

4 17x7 ALL AROUND AND REPLACE 1 TIRE (DAMAGED) = 1,282
2 17x7/ 2 17x8.5 REARRIMS AND 4 NEW TIRES = 1,465
2 18x8 / 2 18x9.5 REAR RIMS AND 4 NEW TIRES = 1,745

Which one is the most profitable, I don't know if I should get the same rim all around or do the offset, Please let me know what is the best way to do it.

First question is do you want 17's or 18's? Worry about that before you worry about staggering sizes. Will make eliminating choices easier. Just my opinion.

I have to agree on the 17 or 18's first. I have 18x9 all the way around but I put a 245 on the front and a 275 on the rear. So I still can't rotate all 4 but I could if I changed the tires later on down the road. It's an option I wanted to have.

Another thing to think about with your tires is whether they'll be directional or not. I have 255's on the front and 295's on the back, so no front-back swapping for me. But my tires are also directional, so no side-side swapping either. I've been told that as long as you keep the pressure good, the alignment good, and the tires balanced, that it wouldn't be a problem though. We'll see as the miles rack up...Just food for thought for ya.

+1 to that, I forgot about that part. I agree as to we'll see as the miles rack up, b/c mine are directional also.

While you consider the opinion of the pro's above, let me tell you that is one sweet looking rim.

I am going to go with a 18" rim, now the question is, stagger it? I was planning on doing 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the back, will this be a big difference and worth 200 bucks?

I hardly claim to be a pro! I've only had my Mustang for three weeks! haha. Just like to give and get advice for what it's worth. Hey justiniida, like I said, staggering can affect your rotations, but....I think staggered looks meaner.

i like the staggered look too.

i am putting 20's on my car in a couple months and am going to go 10" in the rear and 9" up front...

..and the 18's all the way... the wheel well is too big for a 17 in rim.
