Default Lowering just the rear

Will the Roush Rear Coil springs do the trick? Will I need to do anything else? Will it affect the quality of my ride?

Yep, the Roush springs work well.

You don't need an alignment becasue you are not changing your camber or toe. However, you will need the adjustable panhard bar to re-center your rear end and adjustable LCAs to fix your pinion angle.

just doing the springs and LCAs and Panhard bar....will help, but I am also adding panhard bar support bracket and rear sway bar to assist with that....it will go along way in helping with he car squatting so bad...CrazyAl is the expert here..he has written many a post about suspension. If you search you will find loads of info...he has also given a reccommended suspension improvement...listed here..this will really help with the handling etc...good luck...remember,,,,dont be cheap when it comes to suspension...the last thing you want do is save there and cause problems in the future...I am more or less lowering mine and getting the other added parts as a part of replacing the fords parasite of a driveshaft in the future. with a solid and lighter one....Good luck to ya

Rears only. (measure rear alignment before you swap, then after. If you are within 1/8" to 1/4" L-R, you won't need to buy adj panhard bar. I did, most folks do. JMO, you are wise to leave front alone.

Nice stuff fella's. I think I'm going to do it now. Is it very difficult to do it by yourself?

Easy, coils come right out, no compressor required.

One year later/10k after riding with just the roush rear springs no problems to report.
Just got around to getting a panhard bar. Came today as a matter of fact. And ordering adj. LCA
anyday now.
Im just knocking off stuff off the mods list right now, starting with the less expensive ones, and ones I can handle myself. Just wish I had more mad money!

CrazyAl does give some darn good info. You can't go wrong listning to his advice.

Tip: Do one side at a time. Very easy mod
