Chop your antenna down to whatever length you like with a hacksaw, then epoxy whatever you like to the top of it, ball, dice, mickey friggin mouse, etc...

im about ten minutes away from doing just that. The only thing I can find are 14" ones that are about as thick as pvc pipe! I just want a skinny short one... until I get the fender filled and painted...

You gotta go with that one! And pretty good price!
I got mine from eBay and the top wasn't great quality. Didn't notice any change in reception with the 14". I think anything shorter gets a litttle too small looking.
But you gotta go with a shorty, especially if you put a car cover on every night!
Check my second photo! It looks like a long scratch in the picture, but no, that's the stock antenna!

I have a 14" black antenna, bought it at Auto Zone for less than $10.00. Reception is great. Picture shows factory Antenna, time for new pics

I have the americanmuscle 14in and it is great. Reception is perfect and now I don't look like I have a H.A.M. radio in my car. Get this one.

Hey guys, I am looking for some input from some people. I have a 06 Satin Silver Mustang GT and I am tired of the insanely long anttenae. I was wondering what length and color would look best? Chrome or black, and 13 inches or 8 inches. Do the 8 inch anntanae sacrafice reception? Any input is appreciated.
Reception with the 8" varies depending on where you live. If you live in the middle of the boonies, you're not going to get great reception. If you live in a city or outside of a city, you'll be fine.

I'm all for going with the 14" one though....
