I have 20 all the way around. I would just ask the shop to go darker all the way around. If they wont then find a place that will. Most will go to whatever you want because they dont have to pay the ticket anyway. IN law is 35 but the place had no problem with 20.

Darker int is a huge help! I wish I had the dark int. You could get away with 30-35 and it look like10!

I have 35% side, 15% quarters and rear. I'm happy with it. I kinda wish that I could do 15% side windows, but here in Texas the limit is 25% for the side windows, and the tint shop advised me that the tint films can get darker with age. Texas checks tints during the inspection. At least, they're supposed to. I haven't had tints before, so we'll see if they do.

Thanks to the poster! I had the same question for awhile. But considering that my car isn't black, I think I'd have to go with a lighter tint. If you have black or alloy, I think it looks hot having dark tint!

I personally think Grabber's tint would be best on my color car. Anyone agree? Perhaps input from fellow MGs?
