Default Gears

I had the 4.10 installed about a week ago. I have an 2006 manual. When I let up on the clutch now it seems like the car wants to go without giving it much gas. 2nd to 3rd shift is alittle shaky too. Im thinking either I dont know how to shift anymore or I just have to get used to it. It seems odd because I have to let the clutch up slower now to get a smooth shift. This is when Im driving normal. If I really get on it its fine. I hope this makes sense because I read it over and Im not sure it does to me.

How do yo like them? I am getting a set installed tomorrow. From what I understand...this will be the biggest most noticable acceleration mod I will have do so far.

Go 4.30's!! There is only a 300 RPM difference between the 4.10's and 4.30's at cruising speeds.

I am getting them installed next week. I can't wait!

Hmm, where in SoCal are you getting them installed, Because I'm looking for a good/respectable shop to install gears when I get them, also how much are they charging to install?

Oh, and definitely give me a review when you get them in [sm=smiley20.gif]

yeah the 4.10's are pretty nasty....make sure you have some sticky rubber....or you will just spin for a couple days.....i just got BMR's adjustable LCA's and relocation brackets put on a couple days ago....definately a noticeable difference in traction...if you havent gotten these already....i highly recommend them if you're getting the 4.10s
