Default Detroit Trutrac & Ford Racing Gears Where??

Ok I have checked many of the vendors sites with no luck. I am trying to find somewhere that has both the Detroit Truetrac and the 3.73 Ford Racing gears in one place if possible so figured i would ask.

Try Summit Racing. They will have both.

Doh!!!!

Why didn't I think of that. Thanks Al.

Al I have another question for you. I run a Eaton LS in my F150 and love the thing. Even running 35" MT tires and being Supercharged I have never had only one wheel spin even in wet conditions and I know a lot of guys running the Eaton with Zero problems. Any particular reason why you went with the Detroit other than it being a clutch-less type?

I have not personally run an Eaton in a late-model Mustang like these, but I have heard from a lot of guys that they do not last. Perhaps that was with constant drag strip duty....but by far the preferred one from all the research I did was the Truetrac.

Thanks, I already have the Ford Racing Rear Cover/Girdle and it does not require a panhard bar relocation kit. I certainly do like the Design of the Detroit and its nice having no clutches to worry about. What gear oil are you running with yours?

I could be wrong here, but I think TT 912A562 is the one you want to get. Our cars have 28 spline axles and you want the rear one, so yeah... Although if you ever want to upgrade your axles to 31, you might want to get the TT 913A561 as well as some 31 spline axles.

Not so. Our cars have 31 spline axles. The older generation GTs had 28.
