Hey guys,

When I first saw a new Shelby GT a few days ago, I left really wanting that red, silver, and blue "Powered by Ford" logo badge. I called Shelby and they will not sell the badge as they are only putting it on those speccific cars. I would like to either try to have one made or find one that may have been used in the past on older cobras. I was also thinking of seeing if this dealer could order them and use the shelby registry number of the unsold car they have in stock. These badgesadhere to the front fenders in place of the GT emblems. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this for my '05GT vert besides purchasing a Shelby GT?

www.partscheap.com has them as I recall. They are a Ford dealer with a performance parts website, mostly cosmetic stuff.

The badge looks awesome. Assuming I wanted to keep the GT emblem, what otherpart of the front fender would you place this badge? Any opinions?

Maybe just below the GT emblem? Not sure............

Photo shop one the correct size, print it out and tape it to the car in a few locations and see how it look's? Just an idea............

I saw a black Shelby GT at Galpin Ford today. Yes, it had the velvet ropes around it and no true price tag!
Just the combined total of the GT Premium + the Shelby Package, about $37,000 I think. But they are asking for offers! Only 3000 being made each year. Don't know if that's total or 3000 in manual.
Looks like it's just going to be a collectors item, to be driven only on weekends. Not a daily driver.
So guess I gotta get estimates on those mods! Wish I could just take my GT to Vegas and have Shelby give it a nice massage!
