Default Electrical problem??

On only the second attempt to start my 2007 Mustang since it was delivered the car will not start.

At first there was some weird i think, electrical reaction when I turned the key. All lights flashed, CD/radio unit was resetting itself repeatedly, all idiot lights came on, wrench light, engine light and some that I am still not familiar with. After this the starter just clicked and clicked. I waited a few minutes, tried againand the starter just clicked. The CD/radio still reset itself, wrench light came on. Last night I tried it again, just clicking at the starter and CD/radio resetting, now key fob does not work to lock or unlock doors. Battery is fully charged. Is this some kind of computer meltdown?? Wires to the starter are secure.

Car is a new Saleen Parnelli Jones SE car so I'm not sure if this matters to the computer.

Car is going to the Ford dealer as soon as the rain/snow lets up here.

Anyone ever hear of something like this????

Thanks
Richard

Hmmm... Rain? Just for kicks, try checking the carpeting and pad on the passenger side for wetnessat the kickplate (and remove the little access panel to the SJB* and check the carpeting behind the kickplate).

Some folks who have had "the leak" at that location have noted erratic electrical behaviors.

*I think its called SJB
