My friend just got a 94 camaro lt1 and claims that he would smoke me in a race. i told him ya right theres no way. He also claims that it has 365 hp. He has a k&n airfilter and a catback exhaust. Im pretty much stock with 20" rims. What do u guys think? Who would win?

A 94 z28 is a low 14's car and the 2006 gt is a mid 13s car. If he's a better driver w/ a mods he may get you. I seriously doubt he has 365hp, and if he does he has to have more then just a CAI, like cam's or somthing.

your friend seems to be talking out of his ***, no mildly modded (intake/exhaust) LT1 is getting 365 HP. good way to tell if hes BSing, ask him "at the wheels or at the crank?"


a stock one, or mildly modded, should be a good race. are u auto?

If he really only has those two mods, I'd say you'll have to have the bad driver mod and he'll have to have the good driver mod for him to sweep ya. I'd feel better about it if you didn't have those 20in wheel anchors on, but oh well. As far as a catback and cone filter pushing him to 365hp..........either he's BSin you to chicken you out, or he's lying about his mods.

P.S. If he IS producing 365hp (don't matter if it's bhp or rwhp)..................sorry, but..........your TOAST.

Also, you probably should post this in the Street/Strip section. I know, I know.......its out of the safety and comfort of the all-S197 owner's club.......but you'll get alot of useful input in there.
