I'd like to know what the different new Mustangs weight. Base model coupe & conv? GT coupe & conv? and Shelby? I figure you guys that have been to the race track might know. Thanks for any responses.

Heh, ya think the new stangs are pigs.....wait until the new Camaro and Challengers come out. The Camaros will be heavier by 100-150 lbs.........and the Challengers look like they'll make the GT500 look slim and trim. Everything seems to be getting heavier. But at least the mustangs will be the lightest of the next generation pony cars.

 

Convertible with a manual transmission is 3,673 lbs. Don't know about auto but I would assume another 50 -75 lbs.

3720 with me in it and a little over 1/2 tank of gas. Take 220 out for me, and that leaves you with 3500 exactly including some gas. By the way it's a GT, coupe, 5 speed
