Default Widest tires...

Im looking into whats the largest tire i can put in the rear and the front. In the front i dont want any rubbing so if that means running stock size so be it.

Rims im thinking about are the DD Bullets 9inch in the front 10 or 10.5 in the rear.

17's and 18's are both options. Leaning towards 17s though. Give me ideas.

I think someone has 295's on18 inch rims as well in the rear. Do a different search for this question...sponsors on the site can help to with wheel and tire questions....here is one http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp

I put Nittos 315/35 DRson 10.5 inch 17 rims on the rear (front setup is stock). They are OK for street and behave well in the rain but don't offer enough bite on the track. Think I am switching to 28 inch tall MTs on 16s for the track.

I've seen 305/45/18s on the back with a pro kit and they work perfect. 275/40/18 for the front again pro kit as well.

Those are the kinda replys i was looking for.. Including the pictures.

Steve, do you get better traction than you did stock? Im sure you do but you said they dont give good tractions and im wondering what you mean by that. Also do you ever have them rub?

Also for those who lower your cars, i had a lowered car in the past. Not doing it again. Mainly in my eyes the big tires are just to make it look mean from the back :P

i think a 295/35/18 R and 255/40/18 F...front tire will be about 10in wide and rear will be about 12in wide...very good contrast and the tire diameters will also be the same...this is the setup im gonna do. just my .02
