That's VERY believable. People here have ran 13.4....

13.6 is pretty much the average people are running...

Some people have said the stock stang in 05-07 has 230 rear wheel horsepower, is it really that low?????

13.6 is very respectable. In the old days 14. flatwas good for many musclecars. Usually it took headers/slicks to breakthe 13's and engine mods cam/porting to break the 12's. Nothing wrong with 13.6 from the factory.

Conventional wisdom suggests that 15%to 20% of available horsepower is consumed before it gets to the ground. Thus 300 flywheel horsepower @ 80% is about 240 rear wheel horsepower. So it stands that in a practical context, 240 or 245 is probably about right.

230 RWHP??? If we lost 70HP from the crank, that'd be damn depressing....but no, I believe that most are running somewhere between 255-265RWHP from the factory.

The early releases on the 05's are going to dyno a little more than the more recent Mustangs. My dad's friend, the manager of the service dept. at Bluebonnet Ford, told me that Ford didnt detune the first releases of the 05's. I know that mine dyno'd at 271HP from the factory, and I bought mine in Oct. '04.

Do the math and that means about 320HP at the crank from the factory

268 is a pretty regularly used number I think for manuals and autos a little less. I have heard 18% loss but that doesnt seem correct either.
