Just checking out all the different grills, and I came to thinking that when I paint my mirrors body color, maybe I should just paint my grill body color too??? Any thoughts or pictures??

When you talk about 4:10 gears, are you talking about the reardifferentials?Or tranny gears?

I actually thought about doing that, i even bought the paint to do it, but got too lazy. It's still in the back of my mind though. I figure if i do it and dont like it, then it's and excuse to buy an aftermarket grill.

It will chip way too easy, don't do it!

i thought about doing that to. liked to see some pictures of someone thats done it. and like fairlane said, it probably wont stick very good and might chip. you would almost have to etch or acid bath it first.

It seems the grill is a pretty course surface, and might take paint well! I will ask the body guy who is going to paint my mirrors, if he reccomends it. I am surprised no one has done it! I guess I will be the test dummy. Worst case it looks like hell, and buy the billit grill I have been looking at.

When I got my mirrors painted the body shop warned that they would not warranty the work, so I assume the grille will be the same.
