Condolences from Virgina StowesStang.

That's the one thing that worries me, spending all this time, energy and money to get the car exactly right and some dufus creams it.
grrrrrr...

05BlueGT WOW!!!! That is incredible!!!! I dont know, something about owning a car for 6-months and knowing that it has been cut in half to repair, it goes all over me. I wish I could be more optimistic like you were with your car, Im just weak like that []

Oh and there has beenhead aches;neck pain and even broken finger nails, and my husband even broke his back tooth from the seat belt pressure that slammed against his jaw!! Im telling ya, it was bad and the noise when he hit, it sounded like an explosion!!

cars aren't built to withstand force like they used to be but that's a good thing. Just imagine all the force that it took to buckle the car like that going through a more rigid car and transferring the energy to the soft, squishy human bodies inside.

Glad everyone was okay and I hope his insurance company doesn't try to screw you.

Yeah, when people say how much damage they got on their cars, I just post that up so they can see just how it can be repaired with a good body shop. I love that Vista blue and my Sonic blue. If I had to choose another color it would be the Alloy. I never cared for white cars but that is my opinion. I bet the headrest saved both of you from getting a whiplash.

BTW: Welcome back PW, you were MIA for a couple of months.

StowesStang, so sorry to see what happened to your Mustang. It makes me cring to think this could happen at any minute to mine by some idiot probably on a cell. Too busy to watch the road. You see them weaving back and forth across their lane and speeding up and slowing down for no reason. I know its no consolation but if you had been badly hurt you wouldn't be thinking about the car. I get what your saying about a damaged car. Even if it looks good when fixed you have that feeling that its not as pristine as it used to be.

First and foremost, very glad that you are in reasonable good health, following a hit like that.....I can only imagine what my reaction would have been........That being said, was the other guy insured? Make sure you are checked out medically.......neck, back, as noted above....

Shoulda let your other half kick his ***......

Take care, and keep us posted.....

Mike
