Painted side mirrors... who's got em ?

Painted side mirrors... who's got em ?
Hey guys, I know some of you have painted side mirrors. Can you post pics of them ? My paint guy wants to know if I want the whole mirror or just the inlay. Thanks

I don't have them, but have you tried using the search tool? I'm sure you'll find some pictures there.
And from what I remember, most people have the whole mirror painted.

You paint the whole mirror. Do a search, I have a complete step by step process for ya before you go to the paint shop. Even in black I did mine because the OE black plastic is plain nasty.

Yah, I got em. Really enjoy em, but was warned that the paint can chip off real easy. Haven't had any problems yet, but then I baby my beast.

Yeah, got em and they look great. Much better than the chaep factory plastic look. Sorry i dont have pics, but, to paint em you have to really sand/da the hell out of them and then primer the hell out of em, then paint them.

I had my mirrors painted over a year ago. If you're having other parts painted (chin spoiler, louvers, etc) you could probably get your body shop to do it for free if you prep them yourself.

i ordered some prepainted covers that attach with 3m tape, but it says do it when it's 72F or above, and its going to snow tomorrow... so they sit in the box until spring
