Talked to Brent...Steeda intake?
I talked to Brent Last week about getting a tune and CAI package. I mentioned the C&L and the JLT2 he also mentioned the Steeda intake. I never gave to much thought to the new Steeda one but I think I am going to try that out. Does anyone have that? Or are there any good or bad things about the intake?
Thanks

My car is totally stock with flowmaster A backs and shorty antenna. I am looking at doing the tune and Cai package to get rid of the lag and get a jump in HP. What do you think of the Steeda option?

I have the Steeda intake with the Inlet Tube and I think it's great. I think it looks better under the hood than the C&L, most people seem to like it's look but I hate it. So for the same price you get a very similar and better lookingpackage.

I heard the shorty antenna improves performance. I shaved .0000001 of my 1/4 mile [sm=bounceybounce.gif]
I'm actually looking at ordering the Steeda Intake from brenspeed... I'm waiting until I put my FRPP stingers on, and decide whether or not to go with x-pipe before I buy the intake/tunes...

Not sure why he is recommending the steeda. I have a C&L like many here and not problems and great gains. JLT is the other big one. I am sure the steeda is a pretty good CAI but why recommend it over the 2 other popular ones I can not answer.

The install was simple... Only annoying part was getting things to fit right...
The car performs much better with the tune and intake then before. No throttle lag and great acceleration through all rpms!
