I pay around $600 for 6 months on my stang......not sure what my total is, I have 5 cars. That's with a 16 year old on my insurance plan. [:@]

Im 21, I pay 120 a month for full coverage insurance, I carry uninsured motorists, rental, 500/500 deducts, medical payments coverage, and I carry a step above the minimum legal coverages, I think 25/50 or something like that. When I was 20 I paid 580-640 dollars a MONTH for the same car, and that was living in Oklahoma, where its cheap. Allstate! I have the good payer discount, the good driver discount, the multi car discount, and yes, the cars in my name, and Im the primary driver.

Premuims are going to vary depending on age, coverages, deductibles, location etc.

I'm 41, clean record, multi car discount, $500K liability limits, $500 deductible, live in So Cal, premium little over $800 year

Give the VIN to all the potential insurance co you want to do business with and get quotes. I am in Detroit area and have State Farm and I am 32 yrs old great driving record and 0 points. Multi car discount, safe driver discount, multi policy discount, anti theft discount, and the agent is my neighbor. I pay 100 a month and that is including a clause for the $10,000 of paint and body kit work to the car before I bought it.

I live in one of the more expensive insurance areas, West La, so can't compare that way. But when I owned 2 cars the insurance premiums were quite different- a 2003 Mazda Protege5 was $348 and my 2005 Mustang GT was $494 for 6 months. So the GT costs $146 (42%) more!

That's notbad considering I have a V6 as well as 4 other cars and my house on my insurance plan. You would think I would be paying around $200.00 for 6 months instead of $600.
