Just ordered mine yesterday from Y2K. Ed is gone, but ***** is just as helpful! Total price including shipping (after core charge refund) is $308.42. I didn't realize until reading through tons of threads that this price included the cluster and the switch.

I know, a dead thread, but it is great info dead or not. Besides, why create a new thread on the very same subject when this great one already exists?

When the dealer reflashes this stuff, do they also reflash the tune?

Sorta. You can't do it with a hand held, but your dealer may have the right equipment. Not all dealers seem to keep it around.

There are also speedo service companies that you can send it to that are able to set the mileage, but they may require that you submit documentation of some sort. Many will only perform this service for a dealer or repair shop.

Default instrunent cluster and odometer

I am planning on doing the 4 to 6 guage change on my '08 Gt but one question, does the odometer reading stay the same?

I have an 05 GT manual. Can I use any
6gauge cluster, or do I have to get one that was on a GT manual as well?
