Default Motor Mounts

Anyone know where I can get a cheap set of motor mounts? Something stiffer than factory.

I am seeing $150 - $200 for a set of mounts............................[sm=sigh.gif]

Thanks
Steven

I dunno why you would want to go cheap with motor mounts...

But either way installation will cost a nice penny unless you have the means to do it urself

Should have phrased that better...........cheaper than some of the ones I have been seeing. For example, I don't need shiney highly polished show quality ones. I just need quality vs showy.

I've got prothane mounts on my car. They supply many of the other companies that sell mounts. They are identical. you can pick them up on ebay for 109.00. Thats what I got mine for, and they're direct from PROTHANE.

Do those lower the engine any?

Don't you just jack up the engine one side at a time to change the motor mounts?

As far as I know they do not lower the engine.
Installtion as far as I knew was raise car up, nice block of wood under engine, lift a little bit change one side at a time, no big deal, but I could be wrong.
