Im trying to think of some good come-back but I cant....I guess you got me hahaha

I dont know, I think some cars like corvette for example look like **** with a spoiler.....but I just think the mustang needs a spoiler to finish it off....And apparently even big car designers and builders such as shelby and roush think so too

Just messing with you......I have seen some mustangs without spoilers that look good also but they had lots more things done to them to make up for such an ugly rearend hahaha JK

Nah, I think Shelby & Jack Roush probably hate 'em too, but were forced to tack them on by the "suits" in their marketing departments who insisted that many potential buyers would feel "shortchanged" without one- seeing as how almost EVERY SINGLE CAR nowadays (Civic's, Honda's Toyota's, Subaru's, Kia's, etc., etc., etc.) have the same non-functional plastic "wings" as standard equipment- so that soccer mom's who never drive above 65 can feel every bit as as Bad-assed as Parnelli Jones.......

Im not a fan of wings, dont hate them, just not for me. That racer "wing" thing? Never!!!! These are our cars to dress up how we like them though. If thats your thing, so be it. I like the really clean look for the rear of these things. If I can find a good welder who can weld this thin sheet metal I plan on shaving the fake gas cap, trunk keyhole, and GT emblems. TO ME!! these cars look great cleaned up like that. Maybe Im just gettong older and the racy thing just isnt for me anymore. Good luck in fixing her up!!

i did the same thing as you but i used a strong pound fishing line and it sliced right through.....i dont think these cars look good with no spoiler...i put the roush spoiler on and it makes the back end of the car look awesome
I agree with you on the spoiler, these car look better with normal looking spoilers butnot a ricer one.

But I also agree that it is your car and you should do what you feel looks good.

Even if it is wrong like GT Newbie said.
