Default Spoiler Removal Problems

I have a 2006 Mustang GT and I'm trying to get the spoiler off to see what it will look like without it, but I took the 4 screws out that's holding it in place and tried to take it off but there's some heavy duty 2 sided tape keeping it down so I tried getting dental floss and pulling it between the tape and top of the trunk, but it didn't work out too good cause it didn't come off yet. So what do I have to do to get that thing off?

When I lifted up the spoiler a little I could see that there was a lot of tape stuck to the actual trunk and looks really hard to get off. Did that happen to you also?

Well, some of us DO (including, by the way, someone named Carroll Shelby)....

Oh alright cool. There's also like 4 little holes in the trunk right? Did you cover those up? If you did what did you use to cover them? Or did you just put that Roush spoiler on right away?

thats fine its your car and do what you want.....personally i dont like the spoiler delete and since this is a forum i thought we were allowed to voice our opinions....but if someone else doesnt like the spoiler thats fine do with your car as you please......carroll shelby may not like a spoiler but Jack Roush does and so does Cervini and Steeda and 50 other people

i put the roush spoiler on right away......but i think the only real way to cover it up is to take it to a body shop and have it filled in or I think they sell caps for it but I really dont know how that would look
