I WANT TO STRPE MY CAR BUT I'M SOMEWHAT CONFUSED. WHAT WIDTH SHOULD I GO WITH? I HAVE GREY FOOSE NITROUS AND WAS REALLY WONDERING SHOULD I GO WITH GRY STRIPES TO MATCH OR GO WITH BLACK? ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO INSTALL IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND HOW MUCH? AND ANY PICTURES WILL HELP ESPECIALLY YELLOW CARS SO I CAN PICTURE IT. THANKS.

 

I'd go with the gray personally. The stripes really aren't that hard to install yourself if you're inclined to do so(unless you want them painted on). I bought some from www.graphic-express.com and was very pleased with the quality. I just took my time and they came out perfect. It is hard to screw up too badly using the wet install technique, careful measurement and some patience... just make sure you strip off any wax and follow the instructions closely for making your wetting fluid. They have a bunch of install information on the website... Check out the pictures on the site too, there are plenty of examples of different stripes, stylesand widths, etc. that might help you decide what you like best...

Either color would work but I am partial to black. If matching the rims than gray....I have never seen a yellow and gray striped car but there is a first for everything. I have seen the black and yellow combo and it can look really mean and aggressive. Advice .....go with what you like and do a search on this as there are so many stripe threads on this site

 

yellow and gray looks like my old yamaha banshee....i liked it

 

Color is up to you. As far as width look at stripe websites like graphic-express. They have customer car photos and you can get a good idea for what you like. Myself I don't like them too wide. And your yellow car I think black would really stand out.

I personally like the 12" stripes. I can't stand seeing cars with a small width on the stripes, it doesn't look right. I have a yellow stang as you do. I'm also thinking about stripes as well, especially since it's only 150 bucks for them shipped. Plus, is I ever do decided to do them and don't like them, I'll just strip them right off. Look around, do some searching, you'll find what you want.

 

I love black stripes and that was my original plan and originally I had black rims, but now that I got the Grey Foose I am really wondering if black would look O.K. even with these grey rims. Opinions PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

 

Maybe silver?

Black always looks great on Yellow, but it looks like the charcoal metallic (19) from Baltimore Street Mods might be a real close match to your rims....
