Default Hurst Shifter

I received my Hurst Shifter from Jegs last night and will be installing it tomorrow. Other than Locktight, are there any pitfalls falls I should know about. I am at work and didn't have time to search, sorry.

Pretty easy install. Make sure you have a 10mm deep socket before you begin and s couple of socket extensions. Pay attention how you cant the stock shifter to remove it from the top. The Hurst will go in the same way. It's eay if you have a helper to guide it in from the top.

If you don't have the ratcheting wrench set, I'd get one! Save you lots of time on the front bolt!!

man that front bolt was a killer i used an open end 10mm wrench and worked but i would buy the right one.
I installed it yesterday and cannot stop driving the thing, it is awesome. the only other problem i had was getting the shift boot onto the the new oval shaped plastice piece. the boot would not stretch probably because it is so cold here. If it is cold where u live bring the shift boot inside for a bit, it will make it easy to work with...good luck you will love it and i also ordered one of the last ones form jegs
